Who Can Attend
Anyone is welcome to attend our courses. They are not restricted to Yale personnel except when specified in the course description.

How to Register
The Learning Center's website is set up for electronic registration which is easy and convenient for all users. Just access our website at www.yale.edu/learningcenter and reserve your space in class. An electronic confirmation will be sent to you immediately following registration.

Payment Policy
Payments may be made by credit card, cash, check or money order (made payable to Yale University). For University employees sending payment by PTAEO (accounting transfer), a Business Manager's signature is required. Payment is required immediately following the registration process.

Withdrawal Policy (initiated by student)
You can cancel your registration up to 2 business days prior to your session.

Withdrawal Fees
Participants must withdraw from a course more than 2 business days before the start of the course. If not withdrawn within 2 business days of the start of the course, the following fees will be collected:
All other courses (except Business Applications and WorkLife workshops)$50

Cancellation Policy (initiated by the Learning Center)
The Learning Center, on rare occasions, might cancel or postpone a course. If you have provided a PTAEO, your department will not be charged; if you have paid by cash, check or personal credit card, you will be immediately refunded. During severe weather conditions classes may be cancelled. Please call the Learning Center's main number at 203-432-5660 for information.

Waitlist Policy
When a class is full, participants will be waitlisted in the order in which their registration was received. Participants are notified once a space becomes available. If there are an adequate number of waitlisted participants, we will offer the class again as soon as feasible.

Rates & Discounts
The Learning Center offers a selection of fee-based and non fee-based courses to the Yale and non-Yale communities. Please see the course description for details about rates. Discounts of 15% off the non-Yale rate are available to spouses, domestic partners, children of Yale employees, Yale retirees and ex-employees. The "Yale Rate" applies to Yale's faculty, staff and students. If you qualify for a discount, please notify the Learning Center prior to Class date.

Auditing a Learning Center Course
Upon completion of a Learning Center course you may audit the same course as a refresher within six months free of charge. Please contact us for more information and to arrange an audit. Seats are limited.

Educational Transcripts and Certificates of Attendance are now available online
Please review and print your Learning Center educational record on-demand. Your transcript includes a complete listing of all courses you have completed, as well as the courses that you are registered to attend. Display and print your Certificate of Attendance as needed quickly and easily.
